cover of box with cracks and missing some sections of reeded inlay, some water stains to satin interior, gilding early 20th century, steak knives with Tiffany & Co steel blades with minor rust

Catalogue Note

A brass plaque on the cover of the wood box is engraved Florence Macy.  Florence Macy (1853-1933) was the daughter and heiress of Rowland H. Macy, who in 1858 founded the department store R.H. Macy & Company.
