Condition

Overall very good original condition. The sculpture front of the doors in excellent condition with bold coloration. With scattered surface dirt and spots oxidation. The interior is painted red and fitted with two felt covered shelves. With scattered scratches and chips to the paint to the interior. The panels to the reverse with some slight warping, which is not evident once the piece is mounted on the wall. With holes to the reverse for hanging and a steel bar to the interior for support. The slate top with some minor discoloration, which appears to have been the result of a rusting piece, having been placed on top of the slate, while the work was in storage. We would recommend a professional cleaning of the top which would alleviate these stains. Please note this piece is large and weighs 625 pounds and may require some reinforcements to hang on certain walls.
