Overall excellent condition. This is a superb monumental chandelier which retains all its original elements. Electrically stable. The metal elements with minor oxidation consistent with the natural aging process of the material. A highly detailed and sculptural work. Some of the more vertically oriented sprays closest to the standard are slightly bent and therefore are currently showing closer to the ring than the standard. This is visible in the catalogue illustration. The chandelier is one of five that were executed for the Seurahuone Restaurant in Helsinki. Currently the piece is wired to 120 voltage, however the original wiring was done for 220 volts. Upon electrical inspection, we would recommend based on the wiring to the interior consistent with the original 220 volts, that the bulbs in the chandelier each not exceed 25 watts. Should one wish to use higher voltage, we would recommend that the chandelier be re-wired. A superb piece with stunning presence.
