Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade is slightly out of round, with approximately 25 cracks to the glass tiles throughout—most of these cracks are concentrated in a few localized areas within the lower green register of the shade, presumably from a prior impact. The shade leading is finely rendered, displaying a rich russet brown and green patina. The patinated bronze base with minimal wear and rubbing to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. With replaced sockets and switches. One screw missing from one foot on the underside of the base. With a rare decorated period drop finial. The finial with a shallow surface indentation along one quadrant of the top perimeter border, and with some minor irregular bending to the interior inset rim just below this area. A superb example of this rare model, displaying a strongly saturated and artistic glass selection. The glass is more vibrant and shows far greater artistic nuances than seen in the catalogue illustrations, especially in the range of deep purples and violets articulated in the top register.
