Condition

Overall excellent condition with only very minor surface scratches to the exterior of the case. The piece is executed in a beautifully figured wood. The metal decorative elements with some slight oxidation. The shagreen surface is in excellent condition. Leather interior is in very good condition with some slight dryness and some minor staining to the proper left back edge of the fall front element, which is visible in the additional photos in the catalogue. Interior with minor surface dirt. The color of the leather interior is a stunning burgundy. A superb piece with delicate proportions.
