Condition
Overall in very good condition. Each showing some minor surface dirt to the wood and the upholstered seat consistent with age and use. The wood surface with minor scratches, nicks and dings. The first stool, the underside of the top stretcher with holes likely from the original upholstery application. The finish to the surface of the stools with some areas of possible touchups. One foot with a prior restoration which appears to be the reattachment of a loss to one corner. The restoration was sensitively undertaken and is only apparently on close inspection. With what looks like restoration to some of the joints where newer glue has been used to secure the joints of the stool. The second stool with some minor white scuff marks to the wooden base. Upholstery is likely replaced, but also sensitively undertaken and in keeping with the original design.
