Condition

Overall excellent condition. The glass portion of the sculpture with only a few minute scratches, and retains a beautiful light amber tone. This model, called the Normandie, was created by Lalique based on the aesthetic introduced on the Normandie oceanliner, but was not included on this famed ship. There is a fluted ceiling cap included with this lot executed in the same colored glass. With a minor chip to the lower aperture of the cap, measuring less than an inch, which is not visible once the hardware is in place. The ceiling cap with some white paint residue. This piece is electrically stable and with modern hanging hardware.
