Condition
Overall in very good condition. The cast iron portrait plaque with surface soiling throughout and a few small areas of light surface corrosion consistent with age. The oak frame appears to retain its original deep rich russet brown finish, with a few very minor old surface scratches, abrasions and a few small old losses to the edges and corners. With some minor seam separation to the sides of the frame (the frame is built up from two thick planks of oak). This framed plaque displays beautifully in person with great scale and dimensionality.
