Condition
Overall very good original condition. The chair has been exposed to the elements, as it was used in a garden and has acquired a beautiful patination. The chair seat with a greener patination, as it likely had longer exposure to water. With s few scattered white discoloration. The bird on this chair has been replaced and was sensitively executed by a professional restorer based on a bird on another chair from the commission. This work was part of a larger group of works which were designed for use in an outdoor garden for Colonial Williamsburg.
