Condition

Overall excellent condition. The chair is weighted with sand, which allows one to change the position of the chair. With a few shallow surface scratches, only visible on close inspection. This particular example is very early in the edition, as evidence by the hand-executed seams. The seat, top of the armrest of the portion of the chair immediately below the seat are executed in patinated steel. The surface of the seat is irregular, which is inherent in the original design, and not an issue of the condition. The sides of the chair are executed in a mirror-plate finish.
