• curved manual winding movement with angled ends, 15 jewels • silvered dial, Arabic numerals, luminescent hands, subsidiary seconds • winding crown positioned at 12 o'clock, hinged case back, inscription to case back • case, dial and movement signed
Condition
The manual movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. The dial has been refreshed and luminescent material in the hands replaced. Case worn and with light scuffs. Inscription to case back 'to John from Lily August 1945'.

Catalogue Note
It is believed that only 1500 Movado Polyplan models were produced. The rare calibre has the balance positioned under the dial, this allows for a larger balance wheel making the movement more accurate.
