- diameter 56 mm
• 22 ''' gilt lever movement, jewelled to the centre, cam-wheel regulator • white enamel dial, Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic for the minutes, gold hands, subsidiary seconds, signed Manoel J. Dias • engine turned case back with engraved initials MJD • case, dial and cuvette signed • Extract from the Archives confirming sale on 3 March 1911
Condition
Movement running while cataloguing, in order for it to be fully operational it will require a service in the future. Dial in good condition. Outer case very few signs of wear, inside case back with hallmarks and numbers slightly rubbed due to aging. Overall this is an interesting and well preserved piece from the period, it is unusual for the 'chronometro gondolo' model to bear the name of the owner on the dial.
