Condition

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a cleaning soon. The dial has acquired a warm patina, almost a gilt tone. The X of the Roman 12 is missing its lower left quadrant. The dot numerals at 1,2,4, 10 and 11 have some cracks and loss of finish surrounding them. The dial shows aging throughout with some darker discoloration toward the edges of the dial. The shape of the case has been nicely preserved. It shows scuffs throughout from wear, with some oxidation on the band. The upper right corner of the case back shows a slight indentation. There are two owl French import marks- one on the band and one on the side of the lug- on the outside of the case as well as one on the inside of the case back.
