GOLD, PEARL AND ENAMEL NECKLACE, CIRCA 1850

Designed as a series of oval links decorated with blue enamel and inset with half pearls, length approximately 425mm.

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no.013160 stating that samples were found to be natural pearls some saltwater and some freshwater. Pearls with light rosé overtones, one cracked, low to medium lustre, well matched in colour. Enamel with some small chips, slight areas of touching up, generally in good condition. Double clasp fitting secure. Slight scratches to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
