Depicting a bow and a quiver of arrows, surmounted with calibré-cut rubies and rose diamonds, signed Cartier, Paris, and numbered, French assay marks, associated fitted case Cartier, Paris.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Numbered 012271 and signed Cartier Paris. Rubies medium purblish red, well matched stones. Diamonds bright and lively. Secure clip, slight tarnish to reverse, scratches consistent to wear. In good condition.

This jewel would probably have been presented as a love token from an admirer.  Cupid's arrows, set with rubies representing passion and diamonds for forever.
