Comprising: a pair of cufflinks of stylised horse bit design, the terminals set with cabochon sapphires, signed Cartier; together with a pair of stirrup design cufflinks with sugarloaf cabochon sapphires, signed Cartier, Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks. 

Condition

Bit: Engraved 18K to each for 18 carat gold, each numbered 5814, one slightly indistinct. Sapphires with typical inclusions visible with magnification, varying tones, one with a surface reaching fracture. Scuffs and slight tarnish consistent with wear. Stirrup: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, each numbered 8895. Sapphires semi translucent, medium and medium dark blue, typical inclusions, one chipped at tip. Scratches and indentations to mount consistent with wear. Both pairs in good condition.
