  • RUBY, SAPPHIRE, GOLD, DIAMOND
Comprising:  a sapphire and diamond ring of bombé design set with circular-cut, oval and cushion-shaped sapphires with oval and cushion-shaped diamonds, size L; a pair of sapphire and diamond ear clips centring on oval sapphires framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, both pieces with French assay marks and a ruby and diamond cluster ring, centring on a heart-shaped diamond surrounded by pear-shaped rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, size L½, part illustrated.

Condition

Ring stamped 750 and French assay mark indicating 18 carat gold. Sapphires medium to dark cornflower blue, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Diamonds weighing approximately 4.00 - 4.20 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS on average. Earrings stamped 750 and French assay mark indicating 18 carat gold. Inscribed S1.77 indicating total sapphire weight and B 2.84 indicating total diamond weight. Sapphires dark blue, shallow stones, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Diamonds bright and lively. Clip fittings secure. Ruby ring: Rubies medium to dark red in colour, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, some chips to facet edges. Central diamond estimated to measure approximately 6.6 x 7.0 x 4.2 mm calculated to weigh 1.33 carats, estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity VS2, remaining diamonds estimated to weigh 2.00 - 2.20 carats, of similar colour and clarity. All in very good condition.
