  • RUBY, DIAMOND, GOLD
Comprising: a necklace, designed as a line of brilliant-cut diamonds supporting pear-shaped rubies within diamond set surrounds, length approximately 430mm, French assay marks; together with a pair of earrings each supporting a cabochon pear-shaped ruby within a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, clip fittings.

Condition

Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Necklace stamped with a French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Inscribed R 4.96 indicating total ruby weight and B 5.92 indicating total diamond weight. Rubies medium purplish red in colour, typical inclusions visible with naked eye and under magnification. Safety catch to underside of clasp secure. Earrings: pear shaped cabochon drops measuring approximately: 14.50 x 8.10 x 5.80 mm and 14.65 x 8.30 x 6.10 mm, calculated to weigh 6.68 carats and 7.27 carats, dark purplish red with typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, one ruby with surface reaching fractures to reverse. Highlighted with yellow diamonds (not tested for natural colour) all stones bright and lively. One clip fitting slightly bent, could benefit from attention by a professional jeweller. All in good condition.
