Description

  • 1m. 05cm. high, 98cm. wide, 58.5cm. deep; 3ft. 3¼in., 3ft. 2½in., 1ft. 11in.
in two sections, the top section with a fitted interior of five drawers, a well and pigeonholes, the lower section with three drawers

Condition

The bureau is in `country house' condition. The top section is very water damaged with some consequent warping and cracking to timbers and with some losses to veneers. the front and sides also have some water damage but to a lesser extent.Some losses to mouldings. Minor losses to veneers throughout. Handles replaced. One handle incomplete. Interior heavily inkstained. Hinges replaced and repairs around both. Leather replaced. Feet replaced.
