Description

  • silver
  • each 89cm. high, 36cm. wide; 2ft.11in., 1ft.2in.
each with one scrolled pricket candlearm and centred by an oval mirror plate

Condition

Both girandoles are in good original condition but each one does have some slightly misshapen sections, a few minor losses and rubbing and wear to the silvered decoration. One has a loss to the side of the urn on the crest and losses to the leaf-tips to the left of the mirror plate. The other has a repaired break to the backboard which is still a little loose and some minor losses to the leaf-tips to the right of the mirror. Both the mirror plates have been replaced. An unusual and very decorative pair of mirrors.
