A pair of Chinese Famille-Verte Porcelain Vases the porcelain Kangxi (1662 - 1722

with later giltwood removable covers, on detachable giltwood rococo style stands

In overall good condition. The Chinese porcelain: There are spots and pin-hole sized bubbles. There are firing cracks below the base of the neck, one is 2cm and one is 1cm. Both have surface scratches and iron. There is a surface glaze chip of 1/2 cm in diameter on the inside of the rim of the same vase and a crack 4cm to the neck of the other.On the other there is a 3-4cm crack to the base of the side going through the foot. there is a 1/2 cm chip to the rim and a glaze crack 4cm to the neck. There is a black glazed burst bubble of 1/2 cm diamater to the inside. There is glue residue on the underside of both vases where they were formerly glued to the giltwood bases but this could be cleaned off. despite the aforementioned unless very closely inspected the vases appear to be in very good condition with lovely painted decoration. The giltwood bases and covers are more golden in colour and more attractive with very minor chips.
