This piece is generally in poor condition and will require substantial restoration which is reflected in the estimate. Large sections of the brass throughout have been replaced with a type of gold coloured filler. The original brass is lifting throughout and there are sections distorted and bent. There also losses to tortoiseshell throughout. Old worm damage to the back. Mounts are dirty and tarnished and could benefit from cleaning.
