with a hinged boarded cover
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Attractive colour and patina. The cover with marks and indents commensurate with age and use. The cover has been reversed. The former hinged sites now with old patched repairs showing on the front rim of the top. Reverse of the cover with later batons. Later hinges. Lockplate associated and with patched repair on the side of this lock on the front frieze.
