Anna Bennett, Five Centuries of Tapestry, The Fine Art Museums of San Francisco, 1992, pp.200-203, illustrates and discusses two portraits of the Madonna and Child, both with metal-threads, one of which is signed I.D.Melter (weaver in Brussels and Lille, late 17th century).
