Condition

These panels are in good overall condition. Good colour match overall with the photograph. There are some small splits to the yellow silk ground of the cabochon of both, for example along the lower edge (see the panel on the right hand side in the catalogue). There is some wrinkling to the applique cream silk bands. Minor losses and discolouration to applique and painted silk. Some small moth holes to the red felt ground of both, and felt is a bit dirty. Golden ribbon bands in good overall condition. These are striking decorative pieces. They both have linen linings. They have hoops along the top for hanging purposes.
