5-inch twelve-piece cartouche enamel dial, bell striking movement with Brocot escapement, the ornate case cast with flowers and rococo scrolls and flanked by a pair of seated bachanalian putti, on an integral rococo scroll base
Condition
Dial has old damage to numerals XII, I, VI & VIII and hair crack to IX. Movement is much in need of a clean, Brocot suspension incomplete, bell replaced, rear door and frame replaced. Case in generally good condition throughout, gilding probably refreshed. With pendulum and a winder.
