8-inch dial with rococo spandrels, matted centre with date aperture and signed and numbered on a recessed plaque Eardley Norton, London, 2192, strike/silent dial in the arch, the six pillar three train fusee movement with verge escapement, trip repeat chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells and striking on a further bell, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls, signed in a cartouche as the dial and numbered twice to the top right, the bell top case with urn finials, brass side handles, stop-fluted canted corners and brass bracket feet; together with a later associated wall bracket

Condition

Dial in good clean condition. Movement is complete and running at time of cataloguing but would benefit from a clean. Case in good clean restored condition, finials possibly replaced, one piece of veneer detached from rear door but we have it. Later associated bracket has three pieces of brass rod detached and we have two of them. With a winder and case key.
