Description

  • MAHOGANY
  • 77cm. high, 137cm. wide, 114cm. deep; 2ft. 6¼in., 5ft. 8in., 3ft. 9in.
in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, with nine drawers to one side and three frieze drawers to the reverse above a cupboard to each pedestal, part 18th century

Condition

Overall good condition. The leather which has been replaced is heavily stained and marked throughout. The desk has been repolished in the past but is very strongly faded to the side fitted with cupboards and will need to be repolished. One cluster column is loose and has age cracks. Handles replaced throughout. Losses to veneers on the top.
