Description

  • each: 81cm high, 100cm. wide; 2ft.7½in, 3ft.3in.
depicting military trophies; probably formerly part of a boiserie; some minor losses to carving

Condition

Construction cracks commensurate with age as visible from the catalogue photograph. Chips to carving and decoration. There is a black stain at the top of one where there was formerly a carved roundel which can be restored. There is a lighter coloured border where there was possibly previously a frame. Old very minor restorations. Later wooden batten at back of one to strengthen. In overall good original condition.
