- MAHOGANY AND LEATHTER (Mahogany, Caribbean/West India)
- 76cm. high, 131.5cm. diameter; 2ft. 6in., 4ft. 3 ¾in.
with a replaced leather inset writing surface, the frieze with four real and four alternate dummy drawers
Condition
Top warped and with cracks to the edges. Some losses to the veneers. Section of reeded moulding to the bottom edge of the frieze missing beneath one of the dummy drawers. Some patching of the veneers to the edge of the top and around the drawers. Handles replaced. Top unstable which will need rectifying. Minor old marks and scratches. Good colour and quality. Larger than average proportions.
