Condition
In country house condtiion with some old worm damage and losses throughout. Chair 1: Old worm damage throughout and minor veneer losses to the top left hand side of the top-rail. Left hand arm wormed. Both arms with replaced rounded ends. Front rail chipped and wormed. Back-rail with age cracks. Back legs and rails wormed and with extensively wormed feet with losses. One foot partially spliced and with a section missing. Chair 2: Top-rail cracked in several places and with losses to veneers. Patched on reverse. Left hand arm repaired and with a later spliced in section. Right hand arm wormed. Minor veneer loses to front rail. One back leg has been replaced in beechwood. All feet scuffed. Back feet chipped and spliced. All feet scuffed, back rail patched and with shrinkage cracks. Seat upholstery worn.
