Condition

Colours tonally fairly accurate colour match with the photograph in the catalogue. Not as dark and not as strident, and more attractive. Bands of wear to outside long borders and down the edges of field and some areas of field worn down to foundation, just visible in the photograph. Area in right hand upper pink design with strenghtened area. Side cords in fair condition. Fringes turned. Ends taped on reverse, held with blanket stitch. Bottom left hand corner with repair and partially rewoven. Attractive piece but would benefit from judicious restoration before use.
