Description
- impressed factory mark and registration mark for 1862, shape 969
- Pottery
- 33cm., 13in. high
in the form of a beehive, moulded with branches of blackeberry, the canted square stand with branch feet (riveted repairs and chips)
Condition
the cover has been broken in to 10 pieces and repaired. 8 metal rivets are visible. There are some small areas of filler around the breaks. The breaks are clearly visible on both the exterior and interior.
The stand has two chips to the inner rim, approx. 2cm. by 1cm. and 1.5cm. by 1cm. There are four shallow chips to the outside rim, the largest, approx. 2cm. by 1cm. There is a small glaze chip to one foot
