An Italian Neoclassical black and white-painted and parcel-gilt figural guéridon circa 1810

Marble top probably of later date. Scattered signs of old worm damage, most to underside. Two feet with resotred breaks. Snake-form stretcher with further breaks with signs of old restorations. Repainted and regilt, paint now with losses and surface diret, gilding with rubbing. Minor scattered losses to gesso. In good overall condition.
