  • 64.8 cm; 29.2 cm; 38.1 cm
in the form of a turtle, fitted with a small drawer to the back.  The wrought iron probably 19th century.

Condition

Overall good condition; the tray to the balance with a tear to one edge approx. 1 ΒΌ in, in length; small areas of oxidation to the edges of the trays with some dents; the turtle form base in good condition with old worm to proper front right foot; and with old worm around the neck and base loss to its tail and with wear, chips and losses to the painted surface overall with a nicely worn patina; the bottom of the drawer front with losses from old worm; overall with old marks, scratches and scuffs.
