Condition

With scattered age and construction cracks to all ten pieces. All pieces with cracks, hairline cracks, losses and lifting to veneer. Three chairs with larger areas of loss to veneer to back. One of the three with possibly reveneered back, now with the most lifting and losses. Three chairs with restored carved and gilt decoration. Another chair with restored gilt finial on seat. One chair with visible and noticable sun fading to back. Scattered small areas of infilling, not extensive. Regilt. Some seats later reinforced.
