  • 26 cm
of oval form with maize rope-twist borders, the turquoise-glazed sides molded with suspended nets and game trophies, the cover with a fox crouched over a dead bird on a bed of fern leaves, black painted shape number 2262 on a reserve.

Condition

Updated condition report. There is a tiny 1/8 in. flake to the glaze of a horn on one side of the tureen. The cover has a tiny 1/8 in. flake to the glaze just right of the fox's tail and both ears are restored, probably mad-up. The tureen and cover are in good condition otherwise.
