of oval form, the cobalt sides molded with rabbits amongst ferns flanked by twig handles entwined with ivy, the interior glazed in turquoise, the cover with a partridge nesting on a bed of ferns and grasses, impressed GJ monogram within a circle, shape number 3371 in black on a reserve and molded registration diamond.

There are approximately twelve chips to the inside rim of the tureen. Otherwise the tureen and cover are in good condition.
