of oval form raised on four bracket feet, the basketweave sides reserved with panels of a rabbit and a pheasant flanked by sprigs of berried holly, loop handles formed as bound branches, the cover molded with a hound lying over a hunting bag and a gun on a bed of ferns, the tureen and liner both impressed MINTON, date code, shape number 964 and numeral 12.

Condition
The tureen with two restored small rim chips - one is about an inch long and is located on the side with the pheasant, right of handle, the other is at the opposite end at the handle. Otherwise the tureen, cover and liner are in generally good condition.
