the D-shaped cross-banded top above a pair of silk-lined doors opening to an adjustable shelf and raised on toupee feet.
Condition
Overall good condition; top slightly bowed and with small chips and losses to stringing of edge; patch to the back left corner; small loss to banding at back edge; age cracks to banding; doors with minor warpage; later silk panels; losses to ivory escutcheons; possibly once fitted with holes; now with holes around keyholes; lower banding to left side panel with a large patch and with inpainted; bottom banding with age cracks lifting and with inpainting; feet with inpainting and staining; feet possibly associated; small losses to ebonized stringing of right door; overall with some light surface scratches and bruises.
