of typical form, the superstructure fitted with two banks of three small drawers flanked by curved cupboard doors and fitted with a small drawer at each end centered by a leather-lined book stand on ratchet support, the frieze fitted with three drawers raised on square tapering legs.

Condition

Overall fair condition; the brass gallery slightly bent; the superstructure with age cracks, rippling and lifting to the veneers of the back with extensive inpainting to the top and bottom edges with infilling; the front frieze with extensive inpainting to dividers; overall with the usual nicks and chips to edges and scratches and scuffs to the veneers.
