the rectangular top with redeed edge above a central frieze drawer and arched niche flanked by deep drawers and raised on square tapering molded legs on tapered square feet.

Condition

Overall fair condition; originally fitted with a brass gallery, now lacking and with some infilled holes and patches to the back edge of the top; the top with some infilled scratches and scuffs and with nicks, bruises and wear and with a large scuff/bruises to the left side edge at front left corner; loss to reeded edge to back right corner; back left corner with inpainting; warpage to top and with blocks to the underside to correct warpage; back rail under the top lacking and now with blocks; handles appear to be replaced; deep right drawer originally lead-lined and now with infilled nail holes to interior; frieze drawer with loss to veneer banding of bottom right corner; left deep drawer with loss to veneer banding to top left corner; back left reeded collar above the back left leg replaced; restorations to the reeded collars above legs and most lacking small inner-corner reeded edges; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises; lock plates and keyholes replaced with patches around the keyholes.
