  • 74.9 cm; 61 cm
the circular marble top inlaid with various specimen marbles in a checkerboard and raised on a conforming rosewood frieze above a circular spreading stem on a tripartite base raised on giltwood paw feet.

Condition

Overall good condition; the top in good condition with scratches and rubbing to top; the underside of the top with a large area of possibly an old adhesive but the top does not appear to have been broken and restored; the base with some sun fading and with some thin age cracks to veneers with minor inpainting to some cracks; gilding appears to be later and with some small chips and losses to gilding and gesso; upper scroll foliage carving to top one foot replaced; some small inpainted patches to tripartite base; overall with some nicks, bruises and wear to edges.
