the circular cross-banded top with ebony stringing above a conforming plain frieze and raised on an spreading triangular stem on tripartite base raised on gilt-bronze paw-molded feet on casters. The underside of the top with a partial printed paper label stamped WIMBLETONS (Hammersmith) LTD and with vague penciled inscription.
Condition
Overall good condition; with a glossy surface; with some fading to veneers of top and to base; some inpainting to center of top along veneer join; slight warpage to top; ebonized pieces with some inpainting; the base with a small triangular patch to one edge; overall with minor nicks, scratches, and rubbing, particularly to edges.
