the silvered dial with Roman chapters within Arabic numerals and engraved John Tupp / London, the three train movement with verge escapement.

Condition

The dial with 4 screws to the edges. The works appear to be musical. The left foliate brass mount broken, the piece present and in a bag; the right foliate brass mount bent and with a break; oxidation, pitting and wear to gilding; the ebonized wood frame surrounding the dial with a crack at the center to two sides; door slightly loose; no key, no pendulum, small chips and losses to ebonized surface and with some areas of inpainting.
