the silvered dial with one-train movement and pendulum aperture, the foliate- and flowerhead-carved case surmounted by a bird with outstretched wings.  The dial engraved Thos Hine Fleet Street / London.

Condition

Overall fair condition; eagle with loss to tip of proper left wing; the whole re-gilt and with rubbing and wear to gilding showing red bole in places and with small chips and losses to gilding and gesso; old repaired breaks to right side garlands; some tips to elements possibly replaced; movement possibly associated.
