the later break-fronted molded cornice above a conforming case fitted with a pair of glazed doors with oval glazing bars flanked by similarly glazed doors each opening to four adjustable shelves, the projecting lower section centered by a secrétaire drawer opening to a inset leather-lined writing surface before an arrangement of pigeon holes and satinwood-veneered small drawers and above a pair of cupboard doors opening to four sliding shelves, the central section flanked by a drawer above a cupboard door to each side each opening to shelf, the whole raised on a plinth.
Condition
Cornice associated; fitted for electiricy with a transformer to the top and with wiring piercing the back panels with lights to the shelves; the upper section with later watered silk lined interior; age cracks and veneer patches to side panels; cornice with restorations.
