the crossbanded D-shaped top above a conforming frieze raised on husk-inlaid tapering square legs headed by inlaid oval paterae and ending in cuffed feet.

Condition

Top and bottom possibly associated; frieze possibly re-veneered; legs appear to be cut and possibly associated; the top with slight warpage and with age cracks to veneers of frieze at either end large square patch to crossbanding to center; small infilled and inpainted holes to central panels of frieze; the underside of the top with a dark wash; back legs positioned to face forwards; overall with some old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
