each beveled mirror plate within a frame carved with foliate strapwork surmounted by a stylized shell cresting flanked by a broken pediment, the shaped apron centered by a shell flanked by later brass candle arms.

Condition

Overall good condition; regessoed, regilt; bevelled mirror plates later; each lacking original candle arm beneath the pendant shell to apron; now fitted with later brass candle arms; the gilding and gesso stable and in good condition with light rubbing and wear to gilding; one with small loss to tip of bottom left foliate S-scroll. lacking original candle arms, now fitted with later brass candle arms; overall gilding is attractive; wood elements nicely carved; good proportions.
