comprising a stationary tray flanked by white jade belthook-form handles raised on jade scroll feet, the base panel carved in relief with meiren in a pavilion, a clock set within a carved spinach jade bangle supported on a white jade belt-hook, all fitted on a white jade quatrefoil base, a spinach jade hinge-lided ashtray, the silver mounted spinach jade bowl applied with hinged silver covers surmounted by a butterfly plaques, all signed Edward I. Farmer; together with a white jade buzzer mounted with a gilt metal base, the jadeite knob encircled by a garland of enamel leaves (4)
Condition
The tray:
A few minor chips to the extremeties of the handles. Overall in good condition.
The clock:
There are some chips to the carving and edges of the tray. There are some minor nicks to the belthook and bangle.
The ashtray:
There are some chips to the butterfly carving. Overall in good condition.
The bell:
There are some very minor chips to the carving.
